Laps can monitor the car stock and help you see which technicians – with the correct spar part – will be working close to the customer. When technicians are appointed Laps highlights technicians that already has got the spare part in stock, facilitating the life of the dispatcher.

In a perfect world spare parts are always available when a technician arrives at the order location. For many organizations that turns out to be difficult to achieve. Obviously, orders need to be planned on a technician with the part in the car stock. That’s tricky already. But even then, some spare parts are impossible to foresee and a new visit must be planned when the part becomes available. 

Laps can also keep service orders on hold (or rather, re-planned!) automatically according to your spare parts logistics. And when the spare part is available, Laps sends the technician to the order location. That keeps the return visits even lower.
